Following the success of its recent London flagship store opening in Soho, Weekend Offender has launched Category A – the brand’s first ever premium collection.
Available from autumn/winter 2012, the line includes subtle branding and high quality fabrications – putting the emphasis on minimalism and breeding an ethos that high-end materials will lead to more high-end customers. But this doesn’t signal a total move away from their loyal customer base, as the main line will still cater to them, plus Category A does still incorporate the usual attititude (if in a more muted fashion).
Key pieces in the 40-piece collection include trend led statement designs such as the thick woollen duffle coats, camo parkers and heavy coated cagoules. Detailing is central to the collection with the puffa body warmer for example incorporating an embroidered panel of the Berlin Tube map in its lining.
