Lyle and Scott now have a new head of design in Carolyn Massey. Carolyn has come on board and has a strong creative vision for the brand. Although her first collection won’t launch until AW13, she was keen to start communicating the new direction through the AW12 photography.
The shoot below for the Vintage collection was photographed at Hackney Marshes by photographer Niall O’Brien and new models Roo, Rory and Michael. The collection is fused together by the Lyle and Scott classics; iconic, casual pieces that cement the collection together. Hooded mountain parkas, zip through hooded nylon as well as varsity jackets all combine to form the perfect outerwear collection in a versatile colour assortment. Knitwear is as always at the heart of the line and shawl neck jumpers and cardigans, cable pullovers as well as preppy rugby stripe v and crewnecks are available. Shirting continues to impress with a stripe, gingham, plaid and penny collar shirt all offered in 100% cotton. Long sleeve stripe polos sit alongside an array of classic short sleeve styles, all in the slim Vintage fit. The perfect chino completes the look, with a selection available in a range of neutral colourways.
