Blue Monday: Tips to avoid the January blues

So apparently many of you are suffering from a syndrome today known as “Blue Monday”. Symptoms to look out for are mostly depression and sad face emoji’s 🙁 as today, Monday 18th of January is the most depressing day of the whole year. It’s completely reasonable to be feeling these blues what with the aftermath of Christmas, not only has it ended but it’s left our pockets lighter and our waists wider 🙁

We’re not even making this up, some really intelligent (and clearly depressed) people have created a formula to prove it all!  {[W + (D-d)] x T^Q} ÷ [M x N_a].

….Yeah we didn’t get it either.

But never mind all that, we’re here to lighten the mood and help you lift your spirits high with our tips on how to avoid the Blue Monday feeling and hopefully turn that frown upside down!


Tip number 1) Heat:

Heat is related to the summer which is always a happy time! The best way to keep warm is to drink plenty of hot fluids and get the heating turned on. And if you’re going out, be sure to layer up with a Sweatshirt, Jacket, Hat, Gloves and a Scarf – Christmas may be over but Winter certainly is not.


Tip 2) Exercise:

We know that the dadbods the latest thing to hit but trust us, it’s not going to do any favours for your mood. Get yourself out and on that treadmill, ten minutes and the endorphins will leave you feeling on top of the world! Plus it’ll give you a chance to show off your brand new sporty Trainers the wife got you for Christmas.
