Ben Sherman have always been embedded deep within the music industry and this season is no different for them. They’re running a series called The Plectrum Sessions; performances filmed exclusively for Ben Sherman from some of the hottest bands of 2012. They’ve picked out some awesome new bands from Brendan Benson to Crystal Fighters and Tribes; the latest are Minneapolis punks, Howler.
Watch them below playing their vicious no-messing punk rock that has structure and sing-along lyrics, not mosh pits and mo-hawks. Unlike a lot of bands that have been and gone, Howler look to be living up to the hype, especially since they were snapped up right away by legendary record label Rough Trade. They love whisky and leather jackets, so what’s not to like?
