Anerkjendt - Thoughts of Denmark
Many people have had thoughts of Denmark recently with styles from the Nordic/Scandinavian countries spilling over into the rest of continental Europe and the UK in particular. One of the creative centres in this fashion revolution has been Denmark - that's is where this new brand has emerged from. Anerkjendt the sister brand of the ever-popular Humor have just begun their own legacy - you can be certain they're one to watch. As is the case with many clothing brands to come from this region, they find inspiration in the surrounding nature - with all its structured surfaces brought into the garments. Earthy colours, structured/washed fabrics with Navajo elements, wood, leather and wool.
The Philiosophy of Anerkjendt
These are easy-going clothes made for everyday life; clothes to relax in, party in, chill out in, live in. A lot of work goes into the detailing - a less-is-more modest/minimal apprach to men's clothing that is often the sign of quality, especially when measured up against the brash, in-your-face slogans and logos of other clothing labels. When sketching their designs, they devote a lot of thought to functionality - is it robust (but still stylish) enough to keep up with the rigours of the modern man.
We like to support new emerging brands, especially when the future looks bright for them and the sun is shining solidly on Anerkjendt right now. Don't follow the crowd by only investing in brands you're familiar with - now's the time to branch out and lead the field in terms of being a tastemaker. Be the first in the know.
