The Adidas name was first known in 1948 and the combination of Adi Dassler’s first and last name gave the now world famous brand name “Adidas”. Although we have grew to know the name Adidas it is the stripes and trefoil that we immediately recognise, the three stripe trademark was first registered in 1949 and is weren't until 1972 that the trefoil logo was introduced.
