We even stock Liam Gallagher’s, the frontman of band ‘Oasis’, very own brand Pretty Green here at Northern Threads.

Northern Threads was founded in September 2006 by Nigel Binnie and Phil Goodfellow. Both have been in designer retail for over 20 years. Seeing a gap in the market for a forward thinking menswear independent store in the North East, they chose South Shields for the location of their store. Northern Threads was introduced to provide the best in labels and customer service, and now having been open for over 4 years the store has an impressive brand profile and is continuing to introduce new labels of interest and quality each season.

After the major success of their flagship store (Northern Threads) they decided to open a second store (Edit.Clothing) to cope with the increasing demands. By doing so they are now able to stock a vast range of both casual and premium men’s designer clothing brands and can now target all ages, whether it be the fashion conscious male or trend seeking teenager. Northern Threads stocks a wide variety of premium labels including Hugo Boss Orange and Edwin whilst Edit. Clothing makes way for casual yet stylish brands such as Carhartt and Peter Werth to Gio Goi and Voi.
